About

History of CEF

In early 2010, a group of Crestview educators, past administrators, and school district residents met to discuss the possibility of establishing an education foundation. The intended purpose was to provide scholarships for Crestview graduating seniors to continue education and to provide grants to Crestview teachers to enhance their classroom instruction. This group of dedicated individuals continued to work together and, ultimately, created the Crestview Educational Foundation (CEF), a non-profit organization focused on giving back to our school and community.

The charter members of CEF’s Board of Trustees, under the leadership of Steve Willeke (President) were as follows: Voy Harmon, David Cardwell, David Henry, Rex Linkenbach (Secretary), Jeff Music, Cassandra Ramsay, David Stimpert, Mary Stimpert (Vice President), Greg Trent, and Michael Volz (Treasurer). Over the years, new trustees have been added to the Board, who bring quality leadership and innovative ideas. The Board of Trustees meets several times each school year and votes on all action and financial disbursements.
